With the revamp design of The Nest, will come back for the dining escapade, the warmth feeling of ambiance and comfort food at its finest.

 

Arrived quite late and directly went to a private function inside the roof top of Vivere Hotel and Resorts called The Nest.

Located at the 31st floor, it is like experiencing to dine in the sky that marries the best of everything – ambiance, drinks and food.

//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.jsAn aura of alfresco scenic of overlooking metro, definitely, it has class on its own. Let’s see with the food if its also the same. We started with Salad. You know when I post something in my Instagram account, that is the best that will not forget.

 

Crispy Catfish Salad has an oozing kick of the green mango and cilantro. The crunchy, fresh lettuce is so firm that one can get the whole leaves of it which I did. Maybe I just like to taste all of its ingredients. What made this salad unique is the crispy catfish that goes along with the greens.

 

Greek Goddess Salad is too ordinary but when you pour those strawberry vinaigrette, the blossoming taste that comes from walnuts, lettuce, parmesan cheese and arugula made it a tossed to fork that you can’t resist to get more and more.

After that, I got to taste one by one the Grill Platter offering – squid, blue marlin, chicken breast and pork belly. I was still looking on the marinated taste which for me was blant at first. But playing around with the sauces that comes with it made it irresistible.

//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.jsRib-eye Steak with mashed potatoes, greens and cauliflower is too big for one serving. I go for cauliflower combination that made this main dish unique. Steak is marinated with balance of flavor.

Crispy Binagoongan and Gambas / Chorizo Pasta are also a must try. I thought the bagoong would taste too salty but its not. There is a healthy on the side since they served veggies and fruits that would best partner also with bagoong.

For desserts, Salted Caramel Brownie with Bacon Ice cream, Frozen Brazo and Mango Creme Brulee are served. Huge in serving yet too rich and dense.

A spoonful for each one made it a divine indulgence.

Did I mentioned that I was here before last two years ago when I had to meet someone for a business meeting?

With the revamp design of The Nest, will definitely bring the family here to share those dining escapade visiting the stunning pool side, overlooking bay and veranda to experience the warmth feeling of ambiance and comfort food at its finest.
