Good food bring people together. Its harmony and relationship.
My son eversince is very picky on how he eats. Worst, he would rather not to eat at all and just drink milk as substitute. He outgrown it.
As a parent, I have to find ways to cope up with it. Rather than pushing him to eat, have introduced other food as he began to appreciate it. Chow Fan where we can put some veggies with it and lately he asked us how to prepare it as he cook getting those varieties.
When we went out looking for Chinese food like Lido Cocina Tsina, I added Pugon Roasted Asado which he fell in love with it when he started tasting it – well seasoned and the moisture is still visible making this dish succulent.
Everytime I’m in Makati area, I would make it a point once in a while to drop by at their nearest branch to eat and bring something for the family.
I go always with their Lechon Macau. The pork belly never missed out those tenderness yet crispy when served,
Their traditional Pancit Canton has tons of ingredients – from veggies, seafood and meat. It’s like a combination of chopsuey and pancit combined into one.
When an invite came along last July with the opening of their new branch in Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City, I don’t have second thoughts to turn it down.
This is their 16th branch already that put also the milestone of celebrating their 80 years in existence.
Since its very common for the family to order the common ones, this is my first time to taste their Chicken Wings which now become my favorite – exotic yet the spicy taste did not overpower the flavor keeping still balance in flavor.
The opening like Lion Dance made the celebration into joyous mood.
Again, our congratulations for the new branch.
More years, more branches to anticipate just how my family come together giving those harmony and relationship sharing nurtured food the traditional and authentic taste that has been loved.
