Actually, I don’t know about this french toast is all about. It was not my parents who introduced me this recipe.
Guess what? It was my kid’s nursery book who include a recipe of french toast that let us tried as a some sort of play at home but simulating it in a “real” kitchen.
Well, that was a decade ago.
The french toast become one of our favorite breakfast con merienda at home if we were tired of simple spread in a bread or partnered it with ham or egg.
Sharing to you our simple recipe which is good for four slices of bread.
Is it obvious I was so excited with this recipe that I even took pictures of those ingredients?
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
Procedure:
- Bit the eggs lightly with fork in a bowl. Stir in the milk and mix it.
- Heat the pan and put the butter.
- Soak the bread one at a time in a bowl.
- Put the bread slices in the pan and turn it to brown the other side.
That’s it! You can eat it as is. You can serve it with butter and maple syrup. You can also topped it with powdered sugar.
