Who would say that finger foods can be also distinctive during fast track gathering – low cost and easy to get.
Busy schedule, rush hour, traffic, right and left reunions – dilemma when we were plannng for The Roadtrippers‘ Christmas Get-Together.
What we did was to do some simple meet-ups in one of the rooms at KL Tower Residences Makati located in the heart of Legaspi Village.
Since we will be meeting 2pm where lunch was already over and some will be just dropping by, what we decided was to bring finger foods which are easy to pick-up to keep the guests mingling and at the end still satisfied.
Surprisingly, even the idea is just to chow down, our dining table still stand-out with these easy to pick-up food (except maybe for the cakes and salad, LOL).
Sharing some of the finger foods we munched:
1. Tacos who has two dippings, tomato salsa and cheddar cheese sauce
2. Classico Pizza from Italliani’s
3. Kwek-kwek, famous street-food that is deep-fried in orange batter covered in hard-boiled quail eggs
4. Shing-A-Ling, deep-fried miki noodles which is a product from Laguna
5. Pork Barbeque
Appealing yet colorful packaging alone made this popcorn a stand-out. Foodie Blogger Ms. Joy suggested to us this delicious yet light and tasty gourmet popcorn. True to her recommendation, the first rate popping corn is used that taste each thin shell a balance of salt and sweetness.
Actually, I have a memory gap already. LOL! I didn’t know that I was already eating Dee’s popcorn eversince. I always bought the cone size package every time we have a road trip.
