Solaire Resort‘s Sky Tower dwells a 312 all-suite hotel, additional VIP gaming areas, state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a lyric theater and features two restaurants, the Oasis Garden Café and Waterside Restobar.
To tell you honestly, I was not there to personally witness the said opening of these two restaurants. I found out that our Country Manager in one of my consultancy work will only be available to meet us on the same time and day which become also our abrupt Christmas dinner at Buffet 101.
Dismayed, still, I have asked my daughter Regina to witness it in behalf of me. Anyway, I think she is more in the right stand to tell me if the said restos raised its bar since she is a culinary student.
What more, a professional photographer and a fashion blogger, that is how I am confident she can definitely have the confidence to cover it.
My apology, I am an avid fan on the skills of what my daughter can offer which in turn personally shot these pictures together with her father, Ruel Umali. Be the judge since I am her mother.
On the day of the said event, she kept on sending text to me that I have to see her Instagram post to make me jealous. LOL!

The Oasis Garden Café is a a culinary sanctuary surrounded by environmental element in its interior that got the spot of flora and fauna – that is, enclosed in wooden bird cage back draft with waterfalls and tropical flowers.
Ambiance alone signify a relaxing nature tone of elegance and style.
My daughter is a sucker for desserts. She was surprised to see a buffet of desserts and bite-sized sandwiches on the opening day that made her enjoyed to take those pictures but also to see how fashionably it was intricately done one by one.
Definitely, it would be an afternoon of unlimited sweetness as she hopped in table to table venturing to sugary treats. What more, cakes and pastries were creatively presented to indulge.
Even her eyes were sugar-loaded heaven, she still picked her favorites which made me smile.
She always practice what we told her – just enough on what you will consume and savor each taste to enjoy the pleasure of eating.
Did she experience a “sugar fatigue” when I asked her.
The level of the sweetness is not overpowering getting those right level of ingredients to make it a spoonful of delectable treats as she shared her culinary adventure.
What more, serenaded with al-fresco songs / music and dances together with a warm welcome from the management to make their afternoon more delighted.
If Oasis Garden Cafe is earthly in interior, the Waterside Restobar architectural tones is drifted with black colours accentuated with warm orange and copper hues. The rustic feel makes a harmonious symphony of relaxation and exquisite blend of elegance.
Backed with Latin American and Mediterranean creative specialty menu, their set of food offers a feast for the senses with the breeze combination that made the menu remarkable. Selection of tapas, appetizers, main dish, desserts with classic cocktails and wines, all that tickles each gastronomical taste bud.
Fun and excitement also awaits the guests with live festive dances. To make it more exciting, the guests also danced along the music.
Did my daughter enjoyed the whole escapade of representing me with this successful event?
It was a calling journey for her on what to expect one year from now on her profession working in a hospitable business like hotel and restaurant which I like her to see. Every now and then, most of the family bonding time also spent in hotel and restaurant, still working is not the same.
Given that Solaire got already those sophistication, all personnel are polite, accommodating and all-smiled ready to serve the guests which made my daughter realize a plus factor for the guests to come back.
Overall, those sweet yet elegant experience is a satisfying culinary escape.
