I am a fried chicken lover eversince.  I am not more on the brand.  For me, as long that fried chicken got those crispier, juicier and flavorful taste, then this can be one of my additional favorite. Once it is my favorite, then definitely I crave for it.

But amidst with different restaurants and food chains who are offering delicious friend chicken in the metro, who would really know if it is healthy or not?

I was in the northern part last week for client meeting and was intrigued to try Stackers Burger Cafe baked fried chicken in Eastwood.  I know roasting a chicken lessens that oil but “baking a fried chicken” is something different.

Stackers Baked Fried Chicken unique cooking method reduces the oil absorption when frying it traditionally thus the juice and flavor are still intact.  Almost 80% less oil is gone making the baked fried chicken lighter and healthier.

One can choose to partner the baked fried chicken either in rice or in fries in 1 or 2 pieces that comes with a gravy.

I tasted the baked fried chicken with french fries.  I know the freshness of the chicken is there because of the tenderness of the meat.   Sizes of the two pieces of chicken are big for me.  For me, it doesn’t matter.  Again, I am more on the taste experience.

Hopefully, the I-Foods Inc. research and development team can innovate on the juicier side on its meat to make it more flavorful.   Still, a flavor like playing around with the spices can be a meal that is exciting getting those distinctive taste.  Anyway, this is my honest opinion.

At the end,  I love how Stackers Burger Cafe invent the way on how fried chicken is cook – a healthy alternative to a foodie like me who just heart  fried chicken sooo much.  Definitely, will let my kiddos munch it together with their favorite burger, fries and floats.
