We were invited to a special evening with exciting wines at Planet Grapes  in Shangri-La Mall located at the North Wing.  This was my first time to visit it and made me mesmerize with the interior which was the same with their other branches – black around with a feeling of chilling and relaxing.      

It was a simple gathering of cocktails to sip & savor top-quality St.Urbans-Hof wines as we saw also  the presence of Mr. Nikolaus “Nik” Weis from Germany.

Nik Weis represents the 3rd generation of his family to manage the winery founded by his grandfather, Nicolaus Weis, in 1947. He has reshaped St. Urbans-Hof into one of the “hottest” wineries in Mosel, Germany. The family vineyards in the Mosel and Saar Valleys are dedicated to producing Rieslings that capture the individual terroir of the estate`s vineyard sites.

Learn about the estate, St. Urbans-Hof, a name culled from the patron saint of German winemakers, St. Urban, and the German word “hof” that means estate. Only the ripest and noblest grapes are hand selected to produce St. Urbans-Hof Ockfener Bockstein Riesling. Discover the other superb, sweet Riesling wines with enchanting aromas, great freshness and bright minerality.
