After getting back to Singapore, my routine is now on the loop eating again here in the metro.
In lieu of the upcoming Chinese New Year this February 2019, I have the chance to try Yeah Yeah Chinese Cuisine set menu.
Here are the dishes worth P 8,500.00, which is good for 10 persons.
Set Menu:
– BBQ pork with Lechon Macau and Roasted Duck
– Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk
– Spinach with Seafood Soup
– Honey Pepper Spare Ribs
– Steam Fish with Tausi
– Fried Pigeon
– Minced Pork with Sitao
– Pig Knuckle Misua
Will just recap you on the food that I like best among all those dishes.
As a starter, the Spinach with Seafood Soup is too comforting. Thick and rich in content that I have to take another slurp.
The Salted Egg raised its bar after it was known to be included in potato chips. I tried the pasta but this is my first time to include it into crustacean like the Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk. It was generously coated that made this dish succulent to taste and infused with crunchy flavor.
If my son will be here, the BBQ pork with Lechon Macau and Roasted Duck would be his favorite. Overall, its moist and crunchy. The meat is tender and juicy both in texture and taste.
The picture look deceiving when the Pig Knuckle Misua is served. Too heavy but its not. The use of misua with its thin noodle is still a heart warming dish with luscious serving of topped ingredients like the pork knuckles with sweet and savory sauce. The meat has this melt-in-your-mouth feeling once tasted.
Food would always be synonymous with Chinese. What more to take this pride is to serve it in their most important holiday like the Chinese New Year that would depict prosperity and happiness.
Just like the huge serving of Yeah Yeah which I think can still be good up to 15 persons. If you have no plans yet, do try it.
