Santouka’s ramen offerings are masterfully made with imported ingredients—from the noodles down to the soup, which is cooked for 20 hours daily to keep it fresh and healthier but delicious to the last drop.

When an invite for the opening of Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in the northern part, gladly say yes.  This is funny as I wlll be coming from the south.

Anyway, ramen lovers in the north metro can now enjoy Japanese culture in a bowl as Hokkaido Ramen Santouka UP Town Center opens their 11th branch located  at Katipunan Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.

Why do I have to flock the opening day?

When Hokkaido Ramen Santouka opened their first branch in Glorietta, I was one of the many people who rushed up and waited to be served in a long line.

I love ramen especially if it’s really good. Their ramen is my ultimate comfort food from the ingredients, pork, noodles down to the soup.

The soup alone is simmered for almost 20 hours to get those milky, savory taste.while the roast pork cheek is very soft.

According to them, there is a heat timing on the soup as soon as it pours down to the noodles to avoid sogginess.making the ramen delectable to eat

I still go for hot and spicy Kara Miso to make it challenging.  Hubby will always go on the safe side ordering always the Shio Ramen.

Aside from ramen,mouth-watering food offering like fried salmon, shrimp tempura, karaage, sushi rolls, roasted pork cheek slices are also a must-try. While the white buns which are so soft are best partnered with the hot ramen.

Following are the opening promo: 

• Students can enjoy every Friday from September 22 to October 13 a 20% discount on Santouka’s new offerings like fried chicken tsukemen and tonkatsu tsukemen upon presentation of a valid student ID. They may also treat themselves with the buy one, get 30% off on second order of a regular takoyaki or cheese takoyaki promo.
• From September 23 to 30, diners can avail of the soft shell crab salad and sushi promo with free matcha ice cream with every order. Currently, the soft shell crab salad and sushi, regular takoyaki, cheese takoyaki, fried chicken tsukemen and tonkatsu tsukemen are only available at the UP Town Center branch.
