It was an invitation with The Roadtrippers group to have a simple meet-ups at Pan Pacific Hotel in Malate, Manila after we had a blast get-together in Cayet’s Resort last weekend. This time, it was a some sort of Pre-Valentine treat for all of us.

When me and hubby learned about this invitation, we both smile as we have so much memories in this area if we were reminiscing the night of Feb. 13th – the day I say yes not only to have a date in Valentine’s day (actually that was really the main reason) but also a bump for forever relationship in return.

Anyway, why not?  Simple celebration with a hue stunning sunset of Manila Bay at the 7th floor of Pan Pacific’s Sunset Lounge – an evening of relaxation and bonding moments with those appetizing yet palatable pika pikas and drinks like wine, beers, cocktails to share.

What more, an al fresco dining experience awaits the guests with carefree and casual yet serene backdraft of the dining area that made a tranquil, breezy evening.

We have tried some of their signature dishes like quesadillas, spring roll, buffalo wings, chicken drumlets, towkwa’t baboy, chicken nachos and pork sisig tacos.

Among my favorites and highly recommended were the pork sisig tacos complete with the sisig, tacos, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese.  Another one was  tokwa’s baboy – pork cubes and tofu rich with vinegar and soy sauce.   The kick of the sauce with chili fingers makes it an exquisite dish.

At this moment in time, we’re not actually talking healthy options here.  LOL! Some sort of indulgence because we were here for a tasty, yummy and savory meal.

I am more of a wine drinker as I find it also match on the pika pika we shared on that evening.  The Sunset Lounge has also a set called Pika Pika Express Combo ranging from 2 servings selection and 2 beers for P 350.00.
