I once remembered that my mother prepared me this Pork Liver Steak solely for me since I had an issue with my health eversince I was young – low blood. The reason was to add up to my iron deficiency.
My brothers did not like to eat it because of those mushy smell. Even I do not like to eat it, I have no choice but to follow my mother.
But then, I am beginning to like it. To spice it more, I even put some chicharo to give this dish a twist.

The secret is the marinate overnight like soy sauce, salt, and ground black pepper to induced all the flavors.
Fry the both side of the liver then set aside. With the same pan, saute the garlic and onion. Add the fried liver, marinated sauce. Put the chicharo and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
